Two Island Cluster Training Events
Two Island Cluster Training Events
About
The New Zealand ringers have combined into a Two Islands Cluster (T.I.C.) for training purposes. 2-4 training events are held per year with a total of $4000 in subsidies available to ANZAB members to assist with associated travel costs. Accomodation costs are not covered.
Before the Event:
If you would like to attend an event, please email the event organiser at least 4 weeks prior to the event start date. Include your itinerary (arrival and departure dates, availability) and whether you will be applying for a grant. Please book as early as possible to minimise costs.
If you are applying for a Grant:
In your email, include your mode of travel and the associated cost(s). You will receive a proportion of that sum at the event (see below). To be eligible for a grant, objective(s) for the event must be stated clearly - these can be related to methods, striking, conducting, theory, or anything else relevant to the event. Grants cannot be approved without a minimum of 1 stated objective.
If you are not applying for a Grant:
If you are not applying for a grant (or you are not a member of ANZAB) you are still required to include at least 1 objective in your email to the organiser. The organiser will share these with all attendees before the event begins.

By Road:

Please let the event organiser know if you will be taking a different journey to those stated above. If you are travelling from Australia, please contact the event organiser.
If you are attending an event that is combined with private travel, such as a holiday or visiting family, your travel subsidy will be reduced. Specifically, the airfare subsidy is reduced to 25% and the road subsidy is halved.
